The most popular floor we install. We grind the concrete, apply a moisture barrier, then lay a base coat before broadcasting the flake. The result handles cars, salt, oil, and years of daily abuse. Available in dozens of flake blends and solid colors. 5-year warranty on every install.
A garage floor coating is only as good as the prep work beneath it. That's why every job starts with diamond-cup grinding — we open the concrete profile so the coating bonds at a molecular level, not just sits on top. Most DIY and budget installs skip this step. You'll see the results within a year.
After grinding we test for moisture. Concrete slabs wick moisture from the ground, and a wet slab will push a coating off from below. If your slab is borderline, we use a moisture-mitigating primer before the base coat. If it's actively wet, we'll tell you so before we quote.
The flake broadcast layer does two things: it adds texture and grip, and it creates the visual character of the floor. We offer dozens of color blends — from neutral salt-and-pepper chips to bold flakes that make a statement. All sizes available. Once the broadcast is locked in, a UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat seals everything for long-term protection.
Everything we get asked before a garage floor coatings job.
Most residential garages finish in a single day. We grind in the morning, broadcast flake after the base coat, and apply the topcoat in the afternoon. You can walk on it that evening and park your car the next morning.
Yes — the slab needs to be completely clear before we arrive. That means cars, shelving units, tool chests, everything. We can work around fixed shelving bolted to walls, but the floor surface needs to be open.
Our systems are warranted for 5 years, but properly maintained floors routinely last 10-15 years. The topcoat handles chemical spills, road salt, and regular car traffic without degrading.
Yes. We use polyaspartic for the topcoat on all garage installs. It's thermally stable up to 140°F, so hot tire pickup is not an issue.
